Greenwood Homeowner’s Association

 Executive Meeting: 2/6/2020

       I.      Call to Order

Ø  President, Dan Burnside, called the meeting to order at 7:20pm. 

Ø  Members present: President, Dan Burnside; Treasurer, Anthony Stampone; Secretary, Lindsay O’Connor; Arch Review, Vince McGowan, At Large Paul Echardt, Amanda Robier

Ø  Absent: Arch Review, Deneal McGowans

     II.      Minutes from the HOA Executive Meeting on 10/22/19 were reviewed and approved.

   III.      Treasurer’s Report – Anthony Stampone


a.      No major changes in checking, savings or money market accounts.  All bills are paid and up to date.


b.      Approximately 2 homes are behind 2 or more quarters, which have improved from last meeting.


   IV.      Old Business

a.      2020 HOA Board

Ø  Ballots collected from last general meeting in October.  Board members listed on website.


b.      Pavilion Maintenance

Ø  HOA will look into the purchase of a new grill for the pavilion and a new lacrosse goal for the field by the start of summer.


c.      Pond Trimming

Ø  Storm water area needs trimming and maintenance by spring.  Anthony Stampone has asked Green Acres to add this into our contract for monthly maintenance.


d.      Yard Sale

Ø  Further discussion was held on purchasing a dumpster for the yard sale.  Anthony Stampone vetoed the purchase of a dumpster, Vince McGowan seconded it.  Motion denied.  The 2020 yard sale tentatively set for April 18th.


     V.      New Business


a.      HOA Website

Ø  Website needs updated with more accurate information, removal of old minutes, etc.  Amanda has volunteered to look at the website and give suggestions.


b.      Boat Lot

Ø  HOA sent pictures out via email and Greenwood Facebook page on items that need to be removed from the boat lot.  Thus far, no neighbor has claimed any of the items posted.  A final letter will be mailed to all neighbors before removal of these items.

Ø  Spring clean-up day is tentatively set for May 2nd, weather permitting. Boat lot, pavilion, park and grounds and front entrance will be cleaned and maintained.   Invite and reminder will be sent to all neighbors for assistance that day and for kids who would like to volunteer for community hours.  


c.      Sheriff Hoffman

Ø  Vince McGowan is planning to invite Sheriff Gary Hoffman to our next general meeting.  At that time, he plans to bring more signs for the community for speed and crime watch.  We hope all neighbors are able to attend and express any concerns to our Sheriff at that time.
