Executive Meeting: 8/28/17



I.      Call to Order

Ø  President Dan Burnside called the meeting to order at 6:50pm.

Ø  Members present: Treasurer Anthony Stampone; Secretary, Lindsay O’Connor; Vice President, Andy Claxton; Arch Review, Hank Green; At Large, Paul Eckhardt, Deneal McGowans

II.      Minutes from the HOA Executive Meeting on 4/25/17 were reviewed and approved.

III.      Treasurer’s Report – Anthony Stampone

 

a.      No major changes in checking and money market accounts. All homes are currently paid and up to date.

 

IV.      Old Business

a.      Neighborhood Watch Signs

 

Ø  Awaiting the signs from Sheriff Hoffman, Dan Burnside to follow up with Sheriff Hoffman this week.

 

b.      Boats and RV Lot

Ø  A new towing company sign was purchased displaying Marc Thomas / Willards as our new towing company. Sign will be placed on the gate within the next week.

 

c.      Chessie Environmental

Ø  No major complaints on the new company.  One home was missed for pick up last week, will monitor if this occurs again.

 

d.      Portable Commode for the park

Ø  Portable commode for the Park will remain in place through October 31st.

 

V.      New Business

 

a.      Little Free Library

Ø  It was brought forth to the board the purchase of a Free Little Library for Greenwood.  Anthony Stampone made a motion to approve the purchase of a Free Little Library, Paul Eckhardt seconded it, motion passed, no veto was made. The board voted to approve the purchase and placement of the Little Free Library by the park.  Nicole Carrion has raised funds for the library and the board will provide the remaining funds needed.  The board voted to place the library by the playground, 2 neighbors volunteered to mount the library and possibly put a bench by the library.  Lindsay O’Connor will contact Nicole Carrion regarding purchase, placement and installation.

 

b.      Yard Maintenance

Ø  As a reminder, the HOA covenants read that Greenwood homeowners are to maintain their lawns in a clean and neat condition.   Some yards are starting to impede the sidewalks and these should be trimmed and maintained.
