Greenwood Homeowner’s Association

 General Meeting 2/4/15

         I.      Call to Order

Ø  President, Lindsay O’Connor, called the meeting to order at 7:15pm. 

Ø  Members present with new positions: Vice President: Andy Claxton; Secretary: Dan Burnside; Treasurer: Anthony Stampone; At Large: Hank Green; Arch Review: Paul Eckhardt; Arch Review: Deneal McGowans

       II.      Minutes from the HOA Executive Meeting on 10/13/14 were reviewed and approved.

     III.      Treasurer’s Report – Anthony Stampone

a.        Balances were reviewed for both checking and money market accounts with minimal changes; bills are paid and up to date.  Currently, 2 homes are 2 or more quarters behind in dues.  Anthony will be contacting these 2 homes on their late payments.

 

     IV.      Old Business

a.        Greenwood Lights & Entrance to Neighborhood

Ø  Entrance lights and the grassy entrance after an accident have all been fixed and repaired.  Vinyl fence was also cleaned by an HOA member.

 

b.       Boat Lot

Ø     The HOA members cleaned up the boat lot on November 15th, with junk and scrap removed and taken to Bakers Dump in Centerville.  It is encouraged for all Greenwood neighbors to contact the board to get a sticker for items they have in the boat lot before we have another clean up in Spring, or we will remove any items not tagged.  Contact Dan Burnside for boat lot stickers.

       V.      New Business

 

a.        New Board Member

Ø  The board welcomed new board member, Deneal McGowans, as part of the architectural review committee.  Her contact information will be added to the website.

 

b.       Pavilion Reservations

Ø  If any neighbor wishes to reserve the pavilion, they can contact Deneal McGowans at dff456@aol.com or 443-994-1883.  Neighbors are responsible for clean up after any gathering at the pavilion and to use the trash can provided.  If neighbors wish to use the grill at the pavilion, they need to bring their own propane and utensils to use it.

 

c.        Architectural Review

Ø  There are some neighbors who have accumulated trash and/or household appliances around their property.  HOA members will be contacting these neighbors and give them a timeline on removing this trash

 

d.       Community Service

Ø  If any neighbor has children who need community/volunteer service for school credits, please have them contact a board member.  The board would be happy to sign off on school appropriate community service if the community has a need for it.
